The natural look takes a lot of work. At Anderson Farms, we’ve donned the Carhartts and put in the hours cultivating the classic pastoral backdrop for your wedding or special event. Fresh air, rustic agrarian charm, maybe an ornery goat or two, it’s all impossible to avoid on our 15-acre slice of Granville, Ohio, about 40 minutes east of Columbus. We’re bringing new life to a patch of land that hasn’t seen much action since dairy and haying operations ceased in the 1960s. The farm now boasts a bonafide working farm with free range pigs, cattle, donkeys, chickens, sheep, goats, rabbits, a few rowdy farm hands and our brood of seven children.
We work with our guests to make sure they have everything they need for a memorable, comfortable country experience. Greeted by the 1950s Ford farm truck, guests may wander up the lane to our adorable bed and breakfast accommodations at the newly renovated Anderson Hall, or sit down to a show-stopping slab of ribs grown and smoked right here on the farm. Discerning eyes will be able to spot the little piggy doors on the southside of our 1800s Berkshire barn, but now, after a little polishing, the former hog barn stands proudly dressed in her Sunday best to host your soon-to-be-pinned wedding, farm-to-table dinner, private event, hog roast and more.
